by Ashley Robinson

Admirals Nation please welcome Mark Arington to the family! The Admirals Health & Performance Sports Training is expanding to the North End!! It's a honor to announce good friend and former college teammate Mark Arington as our new Director and Trainer. Camps, clinics, private and group training announcements coming soon.

Mark Arington has earned his reputation as one of the best youth basketball coaches and basketball trainers in Washington state.

A graduate of Edmonds-Woodway High School (1998), his high school game drew nationwide attention as well as praise from local media. With two All Wesco AAA MVP’s titles, three consecutive years on First Team All Wesco AAA, and a McDonald’s All American nomination, the Everett Herald named him “Player of the Year” in 1997 & 1998, and the Seattle Times bestowed on him a “Top Five Players in the State” ranking.

Mark has played with renown players like Jamal Crawford, Dan Dickau, Donald Watts, Brian Scalabrine, Doug Wrenn, Curtis Borchardt, Casey Calvary, Phil Cullen, Mike Johnson, Grant Leap, Jason Terry, and many more.

With Mark’s high school success, recruiters from Division I schools invited him to campus visits at Syracuse, Washington State University, Gonzaga, Pepperdine, Boise State, Georgetown, Kansas State, and many more. Mark made life choices, and studied and played in college basketball, but not at the Division I schools listed above. His dream of playing in the NBA were crushed, but he didn’t quit.

After battling a deep sense of loss of around his basketball career potential, he developed a respect for the mental aspects that he learned contribute to student athlete success. Thus, Mark created Basketball 4 All, a coaching and training business where he opens doors and creates opportunities for kids - and their coaches - who are skilled, motivated, and full of faith in excellence. #WeAllEat #WeAllWeGot #AdmiralsHealthandPerformace
